Alumni from your school are often passionate about your school’s success. They provide an opportunity to create programs and networks to support current campus programs.

Alumni engagement is vital for advancement efforts. Another area where you can tap into their passion is by having them engage more directly with the campus and current students. Examples of ideas include:

  • creating a speaker network of alumni that faculty can easily access for classroom presentations on topics,

  • support your student career center in helping review student resumes,

  • providing mock interviews for students pursuing employment or graduate school, and

  • serving as judged for student events such as research fairs and post competitions.

Twokin Consulting specializes in helping supporting colleges, universities, and nonprofit organizations in brainstorming strategies and ideas for improving operations.
